Ben & Jerry’s is launching four non-dairy ice cream flavors later this month and they taste just like the real stuff.

After a little over two years in the making, the company developed a sweet almond milk base when coconut products and soy milk didn’t satisfy in taste or texture.

“The goal was to make it look and taste like our regular ice cream,” Ben & Jerry’s food scientist Kirsten Schimoler told the Daily News.

So the Vermont-based sweet shop churned out non-dairy versions of its signature best sellers: Chunky Monkey — banana with fudge chunks and walnuts — and Chocolate Fudge Brownie, with brownies sourced from Greyston Bakery in Yonkers.

And you’ll feel less guilty about indulging in these healthier scoops. The regular Chocolate Fudge Brownie contains 13 grams of fat per serving and 260 calories compared to the vegan version which has 11 grams of fat at 210 calories.

There’s also two limited edition vegan flavors: P.B. Cookies — vanilla with chocolate sandwich cookies and peanut butter swirls — and Coffee Caramel Fudge.

The vegan pints will retail for $ 5.69 and cost 80 cents more than the standard dairy pints.
