First Picture From Set of New ‘James Bond’ Released

It’s not a huge amount to go on, but given that the 24th James Bond only started shooting in London’s Pinewood Studios on Monday, a photo of a clapperboard is as much as 007 fans could really hope for.

Published via the official 007 Twitter account with heading ‘Day 1. #SPECTRE’, the first official photo features the clapperboard sat on a old wooden desk accompanied by spymaster M’s ceramic bulldog, glued back together having been blown to pieces (along with the whole office) by Javier Bardem’s revenge-seeking Silva in Skyfall.

Announced from the Pinewood’s special 007 Stage last week, Spectre will be the first Bond since 1995’s Goldeneye without Judi Dench as M. Ralph Fiennes will take over the role as the head of the British secret service, having been promoted at the end of the last film.

Alongside Daniel Craig as Bond, Naomie Harris’ Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw’s Q, M will have a new employee to look after in the form of Denbigh, played by Andrew Scott, who recently picked up the best supporting actor award for Pride at the British Independent Film Awards.

Other new additions to Spectre include Bonds girls Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux and probable baddies Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista.
